Upon the furious blaze of the fourth moon, I came to witness visions of those who carved their mark and left wordlessly. From beyond those pitch black horizons I could still hear the echoes of their distant voices, resonating.

Kindred spirits gone rogue embellishing someone else’s ether (but not mine).

In the fire I learned the distance’s true teachings: Each fractured bond prompts the acceptance of our ephemeral stay. From then onward detachment became rule, each passenger exhausting their time of permanence.

And I, doused in ire and wrath, pushing their presence further away until it turned to absence. You who turned your backs in utter indifference. Shall your dark be lighter than mine, I’ll never know.

We shall die alone. In time so do us all.
