Sun Ra 07:30
Come hear, come hear ye deities of old Come hear, come hear my fables of woe I’ve fallen prey to heavy cycles of apostasy And in between you offer silence to my belief So where art thou and thy reveal? I’ve got wounds to heal Come hear, come hear: I prayed for changing, yet you forgot Come hear, come hear: the sun keeps rising, yet I do not I’ve placed my fate on idle hands and grand deceit Guess I’ll reclaim it from all these gods, so obsolete So where art thou and thy reveal? I’ve got wounds to heal All these years devout to you After all you put us through Met with silent negligence Slowly losing relevance each passing day Spurn your children running amok Coveting my worship, greatly undeserved Spawning forth the wrath of millions Burning heat, I stand amidst the desert sand You’re a mirage waiting to dawn Come hear, come hear: the gospel of joy Come hear, come hear: the sermon of light It’s found within you, look in your hearts, you’ll find it there We’re on our own, so don’t be bothered with pointless prayer So where art thou and thy reveal? I’ve got no more wounds to heal that I can’t heal myself Need you I do not I’m still yearning for a life-changing event But maybe first it starts inside of me

Transmutate 10:04
Break the paradigm of slumber Let go of the past, it’s useless Learn from your failures, keep going Strive for betterment and don’t quit Light the spark inside you harness Lit a fire within for cleansing Hold the art of change and transformation Shed your worn-out skin and glisten Be the best version of yourself With the universe you are one You are set on a course to bliss Transmutate, transmutate Transmutate, transmutate Wise and ascending, leave this world Learn to rise above this wasteland Push down the voices that resist Glide through endless trials and heartbreak Off to kingdom come within you You’ll be rewarded with heaven Stand as a beacon, a shepherd Lead this baffled herd by action Stick to your vision and prosper Dive in, deep within into bliss Whole, you become whole, embrace it Transmutate, transmutate Transmutate, transmutate This place where no one can blossom A pale white vacuum with no end Forsake emptiness, let me out Show me the right way to transcend On to discipline and patience Bear light both inward and outward Fear not, the secret dwells inside Your full potential lies within Soar high in the sky, get closer To the shining sun, Icarus Freed from short-sighted vanity Brace for life’s great plights and sorrows The hard way is the only way Out from the embers, a phoenix Flies up, fearlessly, forever Transmutate, transmutate Transmutate, transmutate (now) Wake up!

There’s the sun hanging over the sky It meant to preach, but only carries a sigh There’s a moon that returns on the sly Leaves you helplessly out of light in your eyes There’s a church, but there are no saints in sight Or believers who’ll make it through the night There’s a living that cycles and smites Leaves you drained like a dull parasite Hold me, lay me down There’s a time that never comes to an end It goes beyond what we can both comprehend There’s a flock of souls that never ascends Indulged in sins that no repent can amend There’s an itch I’ve got since I don’t know when Eats me up, but it was gentle back then There’s a hope that keeps us howling amen But then our days return time and time again Hold me, lay me down On a moonlit eve, a fiend rose from beneath Poured malicious revelation into ears already conquered Spoke of the ceaseless turning of the hourglass of existence Said better days were far behind my wilting heart All the wailing and gnashing of teeth wouldn’t offer deliverance All the dreams of tomorrow stranded in a purgatory How to come to terms with such undying burden But to get lost in the dreadful brume of despair? I’ve got no more use for whining There’s only so much I can do I’ve met the length of my limits Now I can only count on you To share the weight life holds on us To coexist and meander Maybe this is all we have left Maybe this isn’t so bad at all Hold my hand the way you hold on to life A grip so firm, makes me feel alive And well, I guess I’m a lucky man And I’ll remain so as long as I can Exult and mourn along with you all Who ache and still put up with my faults Who gaze with me into the unknown I know at last that I’m not alone And if I should fall behind I’ll part ways with you still bearing a smile Not out of relief, you’ll find But because you made all my life worthwhile And if you should leave us soon I’ll pass on all of your legacy I’ll sing your name on a tune And capture you in a melody Let it recur, let it return If it does, I won’t come undone I’ll thrust ahead into your arms A sacred place that knows no harm I’m looking forward to be back Even if the night is pitch black Find your worth and taste rebirth. This is endless.

Blood, space and Nietzsche: SPIRALIST's mind-bending and genre-defying second full-length album, "Eternal Recurrence"

“Witness The Otherworldly Cosmic Grunge Of SPIRALIST” – CVLT Nation

SPIRALIST’s journey has been everything but conventional. What started has a cathartic and isolated emotional purge as a way out of a bout of depression back in 2016 has now grown to become something more. From the independent releases of "Nihilus" - Spiralist's first full-length album – and the digital-only "The Church Dyed Black EP" to the more recent Trepanation Recordings (U.K.) and Leviatã (PT) backed "THE FUTURE EP", the once one-man project has now become a full-band endeavor. And while the advent of the global COVID-19 pandemic kept SPIRALIST from touring, it could not contain its growth.

"ETERNAL RECURRENCE", SPIRALIST’s second full-length album, is a thematic follow-up to "Nihilus". While the first album depicted one's inescapable surrender to depression, this new outing reflects on the grueling process of recovery, the cyclical nature of depression, and acceptance.

About "ETERNAL RECURRENCE", SPIRALIST's founder Bruno Costa says: "This album is very much about learning to live with the scars of a horrible experience. There was a strange transitory period while recovering from depression when I recognized that I’d likely never be the same person I once was again. You shed away your old skin and come out someone new, whether for the better or for the worst. I've found that I've become more appreciative of life as a result - just being happy being here and knowing that everything will end at some point".

"ETERNAL RECURRENCE" is SPIRALIST’s most mind-bending, genre-defying and boundary-pushing offering to date. Pouring elements of Progressive Rock, Jazz and Electronic music into a melting pot that already included the sounds of Industrial, Post-Metal and Hardcore Punk - and adding the influence of Frank Herbert's Dune and Nietzschean philosophy to the album's concept and lyrics – Spiralist has conjured up an album that both shatters expectations and greatly expands its stylistic palette and emotional resonance.

The album was masterfully mixed and mastered at Fascination Street Studios (Örebro, Sweden), and Bryan Olson's (S U R V I V E, Ava Love, Pitchfork) artwork brilliantly teases the music therein: A blood drop falling into the cosmos. Human pain and transcendence.
